The Janek Latosinski Charitable Trust is often simply referred to as ‘The Janek Trust’. The charity was officially founded in Glasgow in 2006 with the aim of helping to improve the lives of people living with HIV in the west of Scotland.

The Trust can offers grants to individuals and to organisations. Previous successful grant applications can be seen by clicking the GRANTS link above..

The Janek Trust is a small, independent HIV charity. It has no paid workers and no office space but it does have a number of unpaid trustees that meet approximately three times a year to consider incoming grant applications. Our trustees have diverse backgrounds including housing, HIV support work, counseling and psychotherapy.

The Janek Trust was originally funded by a single private donation and today private donations are our only source of income.

We no longer support free therapies for to people living with HIV in the west of Scotland which we did successfully for several years.
